About Bonn
Fogelmark was born in the Swedish capital Stockholm, where he grew up. Together with his childhood friend Albin Nedler, he attended Adolf Fredriks Musikklasser, an elementary school focused on working with music. Later, they went to Södra Latins Gymnasium together. To build on their basic musical education, after graduation they moved to the municipality of Örnsköldsvik, in the Swedish province of Västernorrlands län, to attend the Musikmakarna Songwriters Academy YH.
In 2012, they signed a contract with Kinglet Studios, a recording studio in Stockholm run by Swedish music producer and songwriter Carl Falk together with Rami Yacoub. In the same course, they were signed for their music publishing company “SK Music Publishing”, run together with Savan Kotecha. Between May and August 2012, the production of the second studio album of the Irish-British pop band One Direction took place at Kinglet Studios, where the Nedler and Fogelmark assisted Falk and Yacoub in production, songwriting, programming and as background voices. One of the singles released, was the track Kiss You, written by them, which took them to the German, Swedish and US singles charts, among others, and sold about two million copies. For their work on the album, they were awarded a Denniz Pop Awards in the Rookie Songwriter and Producer category.
Between 2013 and 2014, they worked as a team on, among others, the fifth studio album of the boy band Boyzone, the album Tattoos by Jason Derulo, and as vocal editors on the 2014 studio album Sorry I’m Late by Cher Lloyd, where they also met songwriter Max Martin, among others.

Crowe was also involved in this as a songwriter. In the summer of the same year, he was featured with Nedler on Demi Lovato’s studio album Confident, Ellie Goulding’s Delirium and Wake Up by The Vamps, among others. October 2015 saw the release of Swedish producer Avicii’s second studio album Stories, on which he collaborated with Nedler on the tracks For a Better Day and Pure Grinding. Both were also released as singles and entered the charts of several countries. The following year, they collaborated with Olly Murs on his studio album 24 Hrs.
In 2017, Fogelmark founded their own production company “M0B Music” together with Nedler, which is part of the “Kobalt Music Group”. As usual, the recordings of the label are made in Kinglet Studios. The collaboration with Carl Falk also continued. In the spring of 2017, Fogelmark contributed vocals to the song More Than You Know by Swedish DJ duo Axwell Λ Ingrosso. The song was written by Swedish musical duo Vargas & Lagola, whom he later encountered while working with Avicii. The song became a global success, reaching number one in seven countries, including Germany, Hungary and the Czech Republic. Together with the duo, he performed the song at the Amsterdam Dance Event.

In July 2018, Dutch DJ and producer Martin Garrix released the song High on Life, which was performed together immediately before at Tomorrowland 2018. On this occasion, he appeared for the first time as a singer under the pseudonym Bonn. He reached the charts of several countries in Europe as well as the US dance charts with the song. A second collaboration was announced a few months later and released on February 22, 2019, titled No Sleep. The official music video features the two musicians in different settings and symbolizes a friendship.
In March 2018, he collaborated with Avicii on several songs for the latter’s third studio album. After the latter was found dead in April 2018, the tracks were to be completed for a posthumous release. He formed with Nedler one of the teams involved in a total of three songs of the album Tim. One of the results, was the song SOS with Aloe Blacc, which was released as the first posthumous single in April 2019. The album along with the other two by him followed in June 2019.
